Job summary

Happy Dog, part of Digs Dog Care, seeks a Front Desk Associate to be the friendly face that welcomes pet parents and pups. You will manage check-ins/outs, bookings, payments, and frontline inquiries in a fast-paced, pet-loving environment.

You'll coordinate with grooming and daycare teams, maintain records, and help ensure a safe, welcoming stay for every pet. This role emphasizes hospitality, organization, and genuine care for animals.

Qualifications

• Genuine love for dogs and hospitality.
• Strong written and verbal communication; phone etiquette.
• Highly organized with attention to detail; multitask in busy setting.
• Calm, solutions-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with phones, computers, and POS systems.
• Able to interact with dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
• Able to stand or sit for extended periods; lift up to 30 lbs.
• Flexible scheduling including weekends, evenings, holidays.
• Understanding of trust pet parents place in us.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally.
• Check pets in/out, update profiles, and process payments.
• Answer phones with excellent etiquette.
• Coordinate with grooming team and manage appointments.
• Inform clients about services and updates.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming front desk and lobby.
• Keep clear daily notes for team communication.
• Perform opening/closing and cleaning protocols.
• Support daycare play groups and kennel areas as needed.
• Contribute to culture and overall hospitality experience.
