Job summary

Destination Pet LLC is hiring a Customer Service Representative at Barkefellers- Northeast. You’ll greet pet parents and their furry VIPs, answer phones, and guide tours of the facility while maintaining a welcoming, efficient front-desk experience.

You’ll balance cash, use multi-line phones, and keep the lobby clean and organized. The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs and working evenings, weekends, and holidays; prior customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication across phone, in-person, and email.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome pet parents and their furry VIPs with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Answer phones and greet visitors, multi-tasking with accuracy and warmth.
• Tour new clients through the facility and promote services.
• Maintain up-to-date vaccination records on file for safety.
• Manage check-ins and check-outs with efficiency and a personal touch.
• Handle cash, cards, and balance the end-of-day drawer.
• Respond to complaints with patience and professionalism.
• Escort pet guests to and from enclosures with care; keep lobby clean and inviting.
• Support team members as needed and contribute to a positive environment.
