Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in Laurel, MD seeks a dedicated Client Service Coordinator to drive the flow of clients and pets through the hospital, support the veterinary team, and ensure a welcoming, efficient visit for every client.

You will educate clients about wellness plans, handle scheduling, admissions, payments, and retail, and deliver professional service that encourages repeat visits and positive referrals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple tasks.
• Fluent English; strong written and verbal communication.
• Organizational ability with attention to detail.
• Problem solving; translate issues into practical solutions.
• Client service oriented; deliver attentive, courteous service.
• Strong instruction following and ability to give directions.
• Math skills: basic arithmetic and unit conversions.
• Comfortable using a computer and standard software.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and routing flow of clients and pets to maximize productivity.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team to support wellness plan clients.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times and educate clients about their pet's health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventative care.
• Assist incoming clients by completing documentation and entering pet information in the system.
• Assist outgoing clients by providing instructions, dispensing prescriptions, selling retail, and scheduling appointments.
• Manage finances with accurate balances and proper opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
