Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a committed Client Service Coordinator to help manage the flow of clients and pets, ensuring the veterinary team operates efficiently while delivering friendly, informative service.

You will educate clients about wellness plans, show empathy, and coordinate appointments, payments, and records to support a positive client experience in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography.
• One year of related experience required with customer service preferred.
• Medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) with medical terminology training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and routing flow of clients and pets.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through an efficient hospital operation.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, pet health, and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients by documenting and entering pet information and history.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, prescriptions, and scheduling future appointments.
• Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
