Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to manage client and pet flow, support the veterinary team, and ensure a welcoming, efficient experience. You will educate clients on wellness plans, assist with documentation, and help schedule care while maintaining accurate records and smooth daily operations.

The role emphasizes strong communication, multitasking, and a customer-focused approach in a fast-paced veterinary setting, with weekend/evening hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography and exposure to radioactive substances.
• One year of related experience required with customer service preferred.
• Medical background with medical terminology training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify Banfield Five Principles within self and team.
• Recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and routing flow of clients and pets.
• Maximize pets seen by maintaining a productive hospital environment.
• Provide professional, efficient service and educate clients about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventative care.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation and pet data entry.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, prescriptions and scheduling.
• Manage finances with opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
