Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital seeks a Client Service Coordinator to manage client and pet flow through the hospital, aiding the veterinary team and ensuring friendly, efficient service. You’ll educate clients on wellness plans and hospital services, assist with client check-in/out, and help with scheduling and billing.

You will work in a welcoming, professional environment, upholding the hospital’s standards and Five Principles while supporting a busy, client-focused practice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform radiography (x-ray).
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Medical background (vet tech, human healthcare, pharma) preferred.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Recruit new clients and route flow of clients and pets to maximize productivity.
• Maximize the number of pets seen through an efficiently run hospital and wellness plan support.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation and data entry; ensure prompt service.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, prescriptions, and scheduling.
• Manage finances with accurate balances and proper opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
