Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospitals is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to drive client and pet flow, support the veterinary team, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role emphasizes promoting services, educating clients on wellness plans, and handling client documents and billing processes, with a focus on friendly, efficient, and accurate service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography and exposure to radioactive substances.
• One year related experience required with customer service preferred.
• Medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) with medical terminology training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide the flow of clients and pets through the hospital.
• Promote hospital services and route clients for maximum productivity.
• Increase the number of pets seen by maintaining an efficiently run hospital.
• Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service at all times.
• Educate clients about wellness plans, preventative care, and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation and pet history entry.
• Provide instructions and invoices to outgoing clients; dispense prescriptions and schedule follow-ups.
• Manage finances with opening/closing procedures.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
