Banfield Pet Hospital seeks a Client Service Coordinator to drive client and pet flow, promote hospital services, and ensure top-tier client care while supporting the veterinary team. The role emphasizes effective communication, wellness education, and efficient clinic operations.

The successful candidate will have at least one year of related experience, a high school diploma, and may have a medical background with terminology training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography (x-ray) and exposure to radioactive substances.
• One year related experience required with customer service preferred.
• Medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) with medical terminology training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive client and patient flow to maximize hospital productivity.
• Promote services and ensure exceptional client care and communication.
• Educate clients about wellness plans, preventive care, and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation and pet data entry in the system.
• Provide discharge instructions, invoices, prescriptions, and schedule follow-ups.
• Maintain opening/closing procedures and hospital finances.
• Perform general administrative tasks as needed.
