Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to drive client and pet flow, promote hospital services, and ensure exceptional service. You will educate clients on wellness plans and coordinate documentation, prescriptions, and appointments to support the veterinary team.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and at least one year of related experience with customer service; medical background is a plus.

Qualifications

• One year related experience required with customer service preferred.
• Medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) with medical terminology training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the flow of clients and pets through the hospital to maximize productivity of the veterinary team.
• Promote hospital services and route clients and pets to ensure superior client care.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care and hospital services.
• Assist clients with documentation, pet information and history in the computer; ensure prompt service.
• Arrange prescriptions, retail products and future appointments.
