Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in Clive, Iowa is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to drive the flow of clients and pets, support the veterinary team, and deliver friendly, efficient service at every visit, creating a welcoming experience.

You will educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, complete required documentation, enter pet information, process invoices, dispense prescriptions, sell retail items, and help schedule appointments, with some weekends and evenings required to cover patient

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform radiography duties.
• One year related customer service experience preferred.
• Medical background with terminology training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and routing flow.
• Maximize number of pets seen by maintaining an efficient hospital flow.
• Provide professional, efficient, exceptional service at all times.
• Educate clients about wellness plans and preventive care.
• Assist clients with documentation and entering pet history.
• Process invoices, dispense prescriptions, sell retail items, schedule appointments.
• Maintain accurate balances and follow opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions and other duties as assigned.
