Destination Pet is hiring a Customer Service Representative for the New York Dog Spa and Hotel on 25th Street. The role blends concierge-level service with fast-paced multitasking in a pet-friendly environment.

You will greet pet parents, answer calls, conduct tours, and drive service uptake while maintaining safety and cleanliness. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of customer service experience, excellent communication, and comfort with multi-line phones and computer systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle multiple channels (phone, in person, email).
• Comfort with multiline phones and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming pet parents and VIPs and providing a warm, concierge-like service.
• Answering phones with a friendly tone and multitasking efficiently.
• Touring facility guests and upselling services to keep tails wagging.
• Ensuring vaccination records are up to date for safety.
• Managing check-ins/check-outs and handling cash with accuracy.
• Responding to complaints with patience and professionalism.
• Escorting pets to and from enclosures with care and attention to safety.
• Maintaining a clean, welcoming lobby for every guest.
• Collaborating with teammates to ensure smooth daily operations.
