Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking a dedicated Store Team Member to assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with daily operations and merchandising while delivering exceptional customer service. You will help maintain a safe environment for Team Members, customers, and live animals, and you may train new Team Members in policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience with pets or live animals preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform and execute responsibilities of Team Members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours, days, nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Uphold a safe and productive work environment by following policies and procedures.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and provide outstanding customer service.
• Handle and care for live animals including feeding, bedding and habitats.
• Operate cash register and reconcile cash drawers daily.
• Complete documentation for assigned duties.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
