Job summary

Tractor Supply Company / Petsense is seeking a Team Member to support Store Manager with daily operations, merchandising, and outstanding customer service in a busy retail environment.

You will handle live animals with safety and care, operate the POS system, and assist customers with loading purchases, while maintaining store cleanliness and safety.

This role requires flexibility, weekend availability and a focus on loss prevention and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily operations and merchandising.
• Provide outstanding customer service and handle live animals safely.
• Operate cash register and manage cash handling procedures.
• Support opening/closing procedures and basic deposit tasks.
• Ensure store cleanliness and safety compliance.
