Job summary

Destination Pet, LLC is seeking a Customer Service Representative at Ortega Animal Care Center in California. You'll welcome pet parents and their VIPs, greet with a smile, answer phones, and guide tours through the facility.

You’ll upsell services, ensure vaccination records are current, manage check-ins/outs, and keep the lobby welcoming. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; you’ll work in a fast-paced, pet-loving team.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience preferred.
• Solid communication chops—phone, in-person, email, you name it.
• Experience with multi-line phones and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming pet parents and their furry VIPs like they just walked into a 5-star resort.
• Answering phones with a smile and multitasking efficiently.
• Touring new clients through the facility and selling services.
• Ensuring up-to-date vaccinations are on file for safety.
• Managing check-ins and check-outs with a personal touch.
• Handling cash, cards, and balancing end-of-day drawer.
• Responding to complaints with patience and professionalism.
• Escorting pets to enclosures with care.
• Keeping the lobby welcoming and tidy for arrivals.
• Supporting team members as needed; other duties as assigned.
