Job summary

Banfield is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to drive client and pet flow, support a productive veterinary team, and deliver friendly, informative service. You will educate clients on wellness plans and assist with intake, scheduling, and invoicing in a welcoming hospital environment.

The role requires strong English communication, multitasking abilities, and a commitment to exceptional client care in a fast-paced veterinary setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in client service in a hospital or veterinary setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and route the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through a productive and efficiently run hospital to support wellness plan clients.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times; welcome clients and pets and educate them about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients by completing documentation, entering pet information, and ensuring prompt service.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, dispensing prescriptions, selling retail products and scheduling appointments.
• Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and following opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
