Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to drive client and pet flow, support the veterinary team, and ensure a welcoming, efficient experience. The CSC promotes wellness plans and preventive care while handling client communication and documentation.

The role requires strong customer service, multi-tasking, and organizational skills, with occasional long hours and weekend/evening shifts as needed to maintain smooth hospital operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform radiography (x-ray) duties.
• One year related experience preferred with customer service.
• Medical background with medical terminology training preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Move clients and pets through the hospital to maximize productivity.
• Promote hospital services and route clients to ensure superior care by the veterinary team.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventive care.
• Complete documentation and enter pet information and history in the computer.
• Dispense prescriptions, sell retail products, and schedule future appointments.
• Manage finances with accurate balances and proper opening/closing procedures.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed.
