Job summary

WellHaven Pet Health in Washington state is seeking a friendly Receptionist to be the first contact for clients and pets. You will convert calls into appointments and support smooth daily operations in a fast-paced veterinary hospital.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of customer service, typing 40+ wpm, basic MS Office, and a calm, professional phone presence. This onsite role may require weekends and holidays. Experience with scheduling software (PIMs) is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Typing speed of 40+ wpm.
• Experience with computers and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Convert calls to scheduled appointments.
• Greet clients and patients warmly.
• Manage and schedule appointments to maximize conversions.
• Handle cashier duties and cash drawer reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and records.
• Assist with client education and online pharmacy.
• Uphold OSHA standards and safety policies.
• Support veterinary team to improve client flow.
