Job summary

WellHaven Pet Health in Seattle is seeking a friendly, professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact, greeting clients, converting calls into appointments, and supporting the veterinary team. You will manage scheduling, cashier duties, maintain medical charts, educate clients on care options, and promote Care Companion Plans; onsite role with opportunities for growth.

A 1+ year customer service background and a high school diploma are preferred; weekend/evening shifts may be

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of customer service experience, with a preference for front desk or call center experience in a fast-paced environment.
1+ years of experience working with computers (typing, email, other software).
Veterinary experience a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Convert incoming client calls into scheduled appointments and engage clients to book visits.
Greet clients and patients in a friendly, welcoming manner at call or arrival.
Manage calls to maximize appointment scheduling and pet care access.
Promote Care Companion Plans and preventive care options during interactions.
Perform cashier duties and reconcile cash drawer daily; assist with opening/closing processes.
Maintain accurate patient charts and ensure smooth phone-to-visit transitions.
