Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in Wichita, KS seeks a Client Service Coordinator to drive client and pet flow through the hospital and maximize the veterinary team's productivity. You will ensure effective communication, educate clients on wellness plans, and support smooth operations at the front desk.

The role requires strong client service skills, the ability to multi-task, and a commitment to being welcoming and efficient.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of related experience required with customer service preferred.
• Medical background or veterinary terminology training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and route the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through a productive and efficiently run hospital to support wellness plan clients.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times including educating clients about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation and entering pet information in the computer.
• Assist outgoing clients by providing instructions, invoices, dispensing medications, selling retail products, and scheduling future appointments.
• Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and proper opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
