Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in Eugene, OR seeks a Client Service Coordinator to drive client and pet flow, support a productive veterinary team, and ensure welcoming, informative service. You will promote wellness plans, educate clients on pet health, and assist with appointments and invoicing.

The role emphasizes strong communication, multi-tasking, and reliable teamwork in a busy clinic environment. Weekend/evening hours are included.

Qualifications

• Fluent reads, writes and speaks English with strong grammar and vocabulary.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Comfort with using computer systems and veterinary software.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and routing the flow of clients and pets to maximize productivity.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through a productive and efficiently run hospital.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times; welcome clients and educate them about pet health.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation, entering pet information, and ensuring prompt service.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, dispensing prescriptions, and scheduling future visits.
• Manage finances with accurate balances and proper opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
