Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospitals in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to drive the flow of clients and pets through the hospital, maximizing the productivity of the veterinary team and ensuring clear communication with clients.

You will educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, assist with intake and discharge, handle scheduling and invoices, and perform general administrative duties to maintain a welcoming, efficient environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year related experience preferred (customer service).
• Medical/ veterinary terminology training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and route the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through a productive and efficiently run hospital to support wellness plan clients.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times, encouraging hospital visits and educating clients about their pet's health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, pet health needs and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients by completing required documentation and entering all pet information in the computer.
• Assist outgoing clients by providing instructions, invoices, dispensing prescriptions, selling retail products and scheduling appointments.
• Manage the finances by maintaining accurate balances and opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
• Other job duties as assigned.
