Banfield Pet Hospital in Westlake, Ohio seeks a Client Service Coordinator to oversee client and pet flow through the hospital, promoting excellent service and productive veterinary team operations.

You will greet clients and pets, assist with documentation, scheduling, and invoicing, educate clients about wellness plans, and help maximize wellness plan participation while maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography and exposure to radioactive substances.
• One year related experience preferred with customer service.
• Medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) with medical terminology training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and routing the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through a productive and efficiently run hospital to support wellness plan clients.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times, educating clients about pet health and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation, pet information/history, and identification.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, dispensing prescriptions, selling retail products, and scheduling appointments.
• Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and adhering to opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
