Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in Portland, Oregon seeks a Client Service Coordinator to drive client and pet flow, maximize productive hospital operations, and support the veterinary team with a welcoming, efficient service focus.

You will greet clients, assist with documentation, schedule appointments, and educate them about preventive care and Optimum Wellness Plans while handling invoices and product sales.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year related experience required with customer service preferred.
• Medical background (veterinary terminology) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live the Five Principles of Banfield within self and team.
• Recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and routing flow of clients/pets.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by maintaining an efficiently run hospital.
• Provide professional, friendly service, welcome clients/pets and educate them about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventive care.
• Assist clients with documentation, pet history entry, IDs, and prompt service.
• Process invoices, prescriptions, sales, and scheduling of future appointments.
• Maintain accurate balances and follow opening/closing procedures.
