Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee to join the Greater South Dallas, TX area. You will begin with a 5-week paid training program, learning pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques while establishing relationships with commercial customers.

You’ll gain certifications and have opportunities to grow in service, sales, or management as you protect public health and customer brands through science-based solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and be on call during off-hours/weekends.
• Must be 18 years or older; obtain pest certification and/or business licensing per state/local law.
• Background check and drug test required; immigration sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques.
• Establish effective working relationships with diverse commercial customers (hospitality/foodservice).
• Partner with customers on best practices to identify and solve pest elimination needs.
• Maintain expertise in Ecolab’s product and service offerings to enhance service and sales.
• Document issues using handheld equipment and recordkeeping systems.
• Deliver timely, high-quality service under supervision.

Skills
