Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee in Lake City, FL. You will participate in a 5-week paid training, develop skills in pest detection and elimination, and work with commercial customers to implement best practices for pest control.

The role leads to opportunities in service, sales, or management, with full-time hours and field-based duties. As you grow, you will obtain required pest certifications and work under supervision to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and be on call on weekends.
• Must be 18+ and obtain pest certification/license per state/local law.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques.
• Establish relationships with commercial customers, including hospitality and foodservice.
• Collaborate with customers on best practices to identify and solve pest elimination needs.
• Maintain expertise in Ecolab’s product and service offerings to enhance service and sales.
• Document issues using handheld equipment and report pest-related findings.
