Job summary

Ecolab in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee to protect public health and commercial spaces with science-based pest elimination solutions.

You will participate in a 5-week paid training, build relationships with diverse customers, and gain the licenses needed to advance in service, sales, or management, all while working in a field-based, independent setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Position requires a current and valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and be on call during off-hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a paid 5-week training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques.
• Establish effective working relationships with commercial customers, including hospitality and foodservice sectors.
• Partner with customers to identify and solve pest elimination needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Ecolab’s products and services to improve service and sales.
• Use handheld equipment to document structural, sanitation, and pest issues.
• Deliver timely, cost-effective, high-quality service under supervision and obtain required licensing/certification as mandated.
