Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee to join our team in North Dallas and Eastern Texas. You will participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques and gain the required licenses for a long-term career in service, sales, or management.

You will work in a field-based environment covering East Texas areas including Greenville, Terrell, and Mineola with daytime and overnight shifts, and you will gain hands-on experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of work or military experience are preferred.
• Position requires a current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• Availability to work overnight shifts and be on call during off-hours and weekends as needed.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Pest certification and/or business licensing required by state/local law.
• Background check and drug test required for all offers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques.
• Establish relationships with commercial customers, including hospitality and foodservice industries.
• Partner with customers to identify and solve pest elimination needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Ecolab’s products and services to enhance service and sales.
• Document pest and sanitation issues with handheld equipment.
• Deliver timely, cost-effective, high-quality service under supervision.
• Obtain required pest control licensing and/or certification as mandated by state/local law.
