Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee to join our Harrisburg, PA team. You’ll participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques while establishing relationships with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice sectors.

You will work independently in a flexible, field-based environment, delivering science-based pest elimination solutions and growing with a company that values inclusion and career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Driver’s license with no restrictions is required.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and be on call during off-hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques
• Establish effective working relationships with commercial customers, including hospitality and foodservice industries
• Partner with customers on best practices to identify and solve pest elimination needs
• Maintain expertise in Ecolab’s product and service offerings to enhance service and sales
• Use handheld equipment to document pest issues and conditions
• Deliver service under supervision and obtain required pest control licensing/certifications
