Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee to join our Lake City, FL team. You will participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques, and to establish relationships with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice sectors.

As you gain certifications and licensure, you’ll grow toward a long-term career in service, sales, or management, while working a Monday–Friday day shift and adhering to state/local licensing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of work or military experience preferred.
• Must have a current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• Willing to work overnight shifts and be on call during off-hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques.
• Establish relationships with commercial customers including hospitality and foodservice industries.
• Partner with customers on best practices to identify and solve pest elimination needs.
• Maintain expertise in Ecolab’s product and service offerings to enhance service and sales.
• Use handheld equipment to document pest issues and conditions.
