Job summary

Orkin is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to help deliver top-tier pest control service. You will handle calls, schedule visits, and coordinate routes to minimize drive time for technicians, while upholding customer satisfaction and service excellence.

No prior industry experience is required as comprehensive training is provided; the role comes with a full benefits package, competitive pay, 401(k) and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Customer Service or Sales preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and follow through.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and schedule, confirm and follow up on service appointments.
• Navigate Windows-based and Web-based systems to track routes and schedules.
• Schedule appointments for technicians to minimize drive time and optimize routes.
• Identify customer concerns and determine needs through active listening.
• Maintain accurate customer information in the database and document call outcomes.
• Reschedule unserviced accounts within 24 hours.
• Participate in quality assurance processes and uphold privacy standards.
