Job summary

Orkin is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to help deliver the best in pest control service. You will field requests, schedule visits and maintain efficient routes to reduce drive time for our pros, while upholding integrity and customer satisfaction.

You’ll join a team with growth potential and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision coverage and a 401(k) plan. Prior pest-control experience isn’t required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Customer Service or Sales preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and follow through
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to customers to schedule, confirm and follow up on service appointments.
• Proficiently navigate a Windows-based & Web-based system to track routes and optimize current and future schedules—train provided.
• Schedule appointments for technicians to minimize drive time and distance and suggest alt routes when appropriate.
• Use listening skills to identify customer concerns and assess needs.
• Monitor, update and maintain customer database with accurate information.
• Reschedule unserviced accounts within 24 hours.
• Participate in quality assurance processes and initiatives.
• Safeguards customer privacy and other proprietary information.
