Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in an insurance Account Management role in brokerage.
• Private Client experience strongly preferred.
• Currently licensed in good standing in required lines and states.

Responsibilities

• May work with Producers on accounts; act as HUB’s primary client contact.
• Provide professional, courteous service to clients, carriers, underwriters, and partners.
• Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads.
• Oversee preparation and processing of transactions and paperwork for accounts.
• Understand clients’ business and insurance objectives; compare plans for suitability.
• Liaise between clients and carriers to resolve escalated issues; negotiate with underwriters.
• Maintain accurate account files and update HUB systems.
• Prepare annual reviews and client meetings with recommendations for improvements.
• Oversee junior staff as needed; mentor and train teammates.
• Stay updated on industry changes and attend continuing education.
