Job summary

HUB International Limited is seeking a Personal Lines Service Account Manager in the United States. The role focuses on managing a book of insurance business with high service standards and close collaboration with Account Managers and Producers to renew and grow client relationships.

The candidate will analyze clients’ objectives, stay current on industry changes, and act as a liaison with carriers to resolve complex issues while supporting retention and new business development across accounts.

• Private Client Service experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and agency management systems.

• Willingness to travel on business as required.

Responsibilities

• Decide on books of insurance business under care.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Producers on client service and renewals.
• Oversee transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts.
• Understand client objectives and analyze plans for suitability.
• Keep up with changes in the insurance industry that affect clients.
• Make recommendations to clients without manager approval.
• Act as liaison between clients and carriers to resolve complex issues.
• Negotiate with underwriters and carriers when needed.
• Troubleshoot claims and billing issues.
• Aim to retain accounts in the book of business.
• Develop new business from existing accounts and leads.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities when appropriate.
• Manage and conduct client meetings as needed.
• Document conversations and update HUB systems.
• Ensure data accuracy in systems.
• Travel on company business as required.
• Prepare management reports and attend CE training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
