Job summary

HUB International Tampa seeks an Account Manager to manage a book of insurance business with autonomy and strong client service. You will work with clients, carriers, underwriters and colleagues to maintain and expand coverage, respond to inquiries, and ensure accurate data in HUB systems.

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, a FL 4-40 license (or willingness to obtain 2-20/20-44), excellent English communication, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Office and agency management systems.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel for business as required.

Responsibilities

• Makes decisions on books of insurance business for which the incumbent is responsible.
• Works with Account Managers, Producers and HUB personnel on client service and renewals.
• Oversees transactions, paperwork, and processing for assigned accounts.
• Analyzes clients’ objectives and compares plans for suitability.
• Maintains data accuracy in HUB systems and performs client meetings as needed.
• Pays attention to cross‑selling opportunities and new business from existing accounts.
• Travels on company business as required.
