Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Account Manager to handle a book of insurance business with autonomy and strong client service focus. You will work with producers, account managers and carriers to maintain retention, service clients, and grow the book.

The role involves analyzing client objectives, coordinating with underwriters, and travel as required to meet clients and complete transactions. A high school diploma and Florida licensing is expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written English communications skills.
• Superior customer service and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to travel on business when required.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of insurance business with autonomy and discretion.
• Provides professional service to clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, and colleagues to meet retention goals.
• Supports Producers and Account Managers in maintaining and expanding business; contributes to meeting departmental production goals.
• Develops new business from existing accounts and assigned leads; follows up on cross-selling opportunities.
