Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a consultative sales role.
• Must hold a Property & Casualty insurance license.
• College degree preferred.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills for the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annualized new business sales goals based on our target market.
• Conduct outbound prospecting to generate a high volume of first appointments.
• Meet with prospects to understand their lifestyle and insurance needs, offering tailored solutions.
• Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals highlighting USI’s value proposition and solutions.
• Provide an exceptional client experience through a personalized, consultative sales approach with ongoing support from the client service team.
• Identify and address prospect-specific sales challenges with strategic solutions.
• Collaborate with third-party subject matter experts in response to client needs.
• Develop knowledge of industry trends and contribute to bespoke solutions.
• Use USI’s Engagement Platform to manage prospecting efforts.
• Represent USI at meetings, seminars, trade shows, and networking events.
• Support cross-selling strategies for new and existing clients.
