Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking an Outside Employee Benefits sales professional to drive new business, retention, and growth across client organizations. The role requires a Life & Health license and strong knowledge of Employee Benefits.

You will manage client relationships, develop business plans, and leverage USI resources to expand revenue, while representing the firm at meetings, seminars, and events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in an insurance brokerage.
• Must hold a Life and Health insurance license.
• Strong knowledge of Employee Benefits.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with goal orientation.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annualized new business sales of $200k in target market (200–2,000 employees).
• Retain at least 92% of business year over year with leadership support.
• Meet new business activity and quality appointment goals.
• Research prospects and develop customized messaging for prospects.
• Collaborate with account management and cross-sell to clients.
• Represent USI in meetings, trade shows and networking events.
