Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking an Outside Employee Benefits sales professional to drive new business, retain clients, and grow revenue. You will manage client relationships, craft tailored messaging, and collaborate with leadership to achieve annual sales targets.

Responsibilities include prospecting, presenting, closing, and expanding services across mid-size employers, while leveraging USI resources and industry training for successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in an insurance brokerage with a proven track record.
• College degree preferred.
• Must hold a Life and Health insurance license.
• Strong knowledge of Employee Benefits.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annualized new business sales of $200k in our market of 200–2,000 employees.
• Retain at least 92% of business year over year with leadership support.
• Meet new business activity and quality appointment goals.
• Use USI resources to research prospects and craft messaging.
• Explain USI’s differentiators to clients and prospects.
• Develop sales plans and use effective prospecting strategies.
• Engage in meetings on appointments, closing, and retention.
• Collaborate with account management for significant services.
