Job summary

Savant Senior Living in Woodland, CA is seeking a Memory Care Caregiver to join our compassionate team. This part-time role (Fri-Mon) involves direct resident care, assisting with activities of daily living, and supporting memory care programs.

Reporting to the Wellness Director, you will provide medication assistance per policy, lift and transfer residents as needed, and maintain a safe, respectful environment. Must have memory care experience, CPR and First Aid, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Experience in memory care setting.
• Current CPR.
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications.
• Speak, read and understand English fluently.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living (grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair care, transfers).
• Lift and transfer residents as needed.
• Report to the Wellness Director and follow state regulations.
• Communicate in English fluently.

What you will do:

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.
• Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations.
• Speak read and understand English fluently.

Must haves:

EXPERIENCE IN MEMORY CARE SETTING

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• current CPR
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations
• Speak read and understand English fluently.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.

Pay rate $20.00 -22.50per hour
