Job summary

Savant of Tarzana is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support our senior residents with daily living activities, medication assistance, and respectful companionship. You will report to the Wellness Director and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or equivalent), current CPR and First Aid certifications, and a caring team spirit. Experience in assisted living is a plus; bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.
• Valid First Aid certification.
• Experience in assisted living is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living (grooming, hygiene, bathing, grooming, transfers).
• Lift and transfer residents as needed.
• Ensure safety and comply with state regulations.
• Communicate in English clearly and professionally.

What you will do:

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.
• Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations
• Speak read and understand English fluently.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.

Must haves

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• current CPR
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations

Pay rate $20.00 -22.50per hour
