Job summary

Burbank Senior Villa West is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team in providing high-quality resident care in a supportive environment.

Reporting to the Wellness Director, you will assist with daily activities, monitor residents, and help maintain a safe, welcoming atmosphere. This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and dedication to senior care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• First Aid certification is required and must meet state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents in alignment with Community expectations.
• Assist with activities of daily living (grooming, hygiene, bathing, brushing hair, transferring during meals and activities).
• Assist with lifting and transferring residents as needed to ensure safety.

What you will do:

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.

• Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.

Must haves:

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• current CPR
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations
• Speak read and understand English fluently.

• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.

Pay rate $20.00 -22.50per hour
