Job summary

Savant Senior Living in West Hollywood is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our team. You will report to the Wellness Director and provide direct care and medication assistance to residents, ensuring high-quality service that aligns with our mission.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, personal care, grooming, and safe transfers. CPR and First Aid certifications are required, and fluency in English is essential for clear communication with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Current CPR is required.
• Must possess First Aid Certifications and comply with state regulations.
• Fluent in speaking, reading and understanding English.

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents as required.
• Assist with activities of daily living (grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair care) and transfers.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed to support daily activities.

What you will do:

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.
• Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.

Must haves:

EXPERIENCE IN MEMORY CARE SETTING

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• current CPR

• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations
• Speak read and understand English fluently.

• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.

Pay rate $21.00 -23.50per hour
