Job summary

Burbank Senior Villa East in Burbank, CA is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team. You will provide direct care and medication assistance, reporting to the Wellness Director, and help residents with daily activities in a warm, supportive environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR and First Aid certifications, and fluency in English. Experience in assisted living is a plus. We offer health benefits, a 401(k) plan, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents while meeting community standards.

What you will do:

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.

Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.

Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.

Must haves

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• current CPR

Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations

Speak read and understand English fluently.

• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.

Pay rate $20.00 -22.50per hour
