Job summary

Savant Senior Living in Riverside, CA is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our team. You will provide direct care and medication assistance to residents, supporting daily living activities and promoting health and well-being.

Ideal candidates are team players who share our mission to deliver compassionate senior care. Valid CPR and First Aid certifications, fluent English, and the ability to lift and transfer residents are preferred requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Current CPR may be required.
• First Aid certification required per state regulations.
• Fluent English – speak, read and understand.
• Ability to push, pull, lift residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living and transfers as needed.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as required.

What you will do:

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.
• Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.

Must haves:

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• May need to possess current CPR
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations
• Speak read and understand English fluently.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.

Pay rate $18.00 -$20.50per hour
