Job summary

Savant Senior Living seeks a dedicated Caregiver for Savant Studio Royale of Culver City to deliver direct care and medication assistance to residents under supervision. You will assist with daily living activities and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort in a supportive environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, CPR and First Aid certifications, fluent English, and the ability to lift and stand for extended periods. Assisted living experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR may be required.
• Must possess valid First Aid Certification and, according to state regulations, maintain compliance.
• English reading, writing and speaking fluently.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents under the Wellness Director.
• Assist with activities of daily living (grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair care) and transfers.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.

What you will do:

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.
• Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.

Must haves

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• May need to possess current CPR
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations
• Speak read and understand English fluently.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.
