Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Haralson County, GA is seeking Personal Care Aides/Caregivers to support seniors at home with compassionate, client-centered care. This role offers flexibility and one-on-one client time, with opportunities to build skills through online training.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, remind about medications, and ensure a safe home environment while enjoying a $15.00/hr pay rate and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; GA PCA certificate (Interim can assist with certification)
• One year healthcare experience preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications; TB screening within past 12 months
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and personal vehicle
• Compassionate, good communicator, able to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and ROM exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document condition, notify supervisor of concerns
• Ensure safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities bringing clients joy (puzzles, games, reading, hobbies)

A few must-haves for Personal Care Aides/Caregivers:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and Personal Care Assistant Certificate in GA (Interim can assist with certification)
• One (1) year of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Current hands-on CPR and First Aid certification, current TB Screening within past 12 months
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and personal vehicle for transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
