Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Haralson County, GA, is seeking a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver to support seniors at home with compassion and reliability. The role offers 1:1 client care, flexibility to set your own schedule, and online training to earn CEUs while you work.

You’ll provide daily living assistance, transportation, and companionship, while documenting conditions and ensuring safety. A GA driver’s license and CPR/First Aid are required, with certification support provided by Interim.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Personal Care Assistant Certificate in GA; Interim can assist with certification.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• TB Screening within past 12 months.
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance, and vehicle for transportation.
• Compassionate and helpful nature; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support seniors to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Assist with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document conditions and notify supervisor of concerns.
• Maintain a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Engage clients in activities that bring joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.

As a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Current hands-on CPR and First Aid certification, current TB Screening within past 12 months
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and personal vehicle for transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
