Interim HealthCare of Rome, GA is seeking Personal Care Aides/Caregivers in Haralson County, GA. This role emphasizes flexibility and work-life balance, enabling you to design a schedule around your life while delivering client-centered home care.

As a PCA, you will support seniors at home with daily living activities, reminders, and companionship. Candidates should have a HS diploma, GA PCA certificate, CPR/First Aid, TB screening, a valid GA driver’s license, and access to a vehicle; ongoing

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care and support to seniors at home.

• Aide with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition for supervisor.

As a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Personal Care Aides/Caregivers:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and Personal Care Assistant Certificate in GA (Interim can assist with certification)
• One (1) year of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Current hands-on CPR and First Aid certification, current TB Screening within past 12 months
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and personal vehicle for transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
