Job summary

Stop & Shop is seeking a highly motivated Perishable Manager to oversee the daily operations of Meat, Seafood, Deli, Florist, Produce, and Bake Shop departments at our Hartford, CT location.

We value leadership, customer service, and a track record of delivering results in a retail grocery environment. Candidates should have 1-3 years of supervisory experience and a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Competitive salary and benefits are offered, with a 12.5% bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail grocery preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead across functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Meat, Seafood, Deli, Florist, Produce and Bake Shop departments.
• Ensure departments meet or exceed sales and profit targets.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in compliance with regulations.
• Develop and train perishable department team members; monitor performance and growth.
• Manage labor relations and employee issues; promote a positive work environment.
• Deliver best-in-class customer service and ensure well-stocked stores with fresh products.
