Job summary

Stop & Shop in the United States is seeking a highly motivated Perishable Manager to oversee the daily operations of Meat, Seafood, Deli, Florist, Produce, and Bake Shop. You will lead department teams, drive sales targets, ensure sanitation and safety, and foster a diverse, high-performing work culture.

The role requires leadership experience in retail grocery, a relevant degree (preferred), and strong communication and organizational skills to optimize store performance and customer

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience, preferably in retail grocery.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Meat, Seafood, Deli, Florist, Produce, and Bake Shop.
• Ensure departments meet or exceed sales and profit targets.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards compliant with regulations.
• Direct, oversee, and evaluate training of perishable department team members.
• Monitor associate performance; ensure development plans for growth.
• Foster diversity and inclusion within the team.
• Manage labor relations and address employee issues promptly.
• Deliver best-in-class customer service and ensure well-stocked stores.
